Looking to Swap a Lease? Transfer Auto Lease 100% Free

In recent years, the majority of car sales in the United States have been leases rather than a full purchase of a vehicle.  The biggest reason why, the auto sales market is too unpredictable.  It is hard to predict how much value a car will lose in upcoming years.  How much will I lose when I am ready to sell the car?  Instead of worrying about the value of a car, buyers have turned to leasing.  In most cases it is cheaper to lease a car over 36 months than to lose thousands of dollars the second you drive your new car away from the dealership.

Just like with anything else, life happens!  Situations change, and adjustments are required. For years, customer’s who leased vehicles have wished there were options to help get them out of their lease early.  LeaseQuit.com gives the buyer options. LeaseQuit® lets users post their leased vehicle online, allowing other users who are interested in taking over the lease to connect and discuss terms of the lease transfer.  Essentially LeaseQuit® lets users swap a lease from one owner to another.

By working with thousands of dealers and dealerships throughout the United States, we offer users an option they won’t find anywhere else!  Our Lease Transfer experts will contact the bank your vehicle is leased through and discuss the possibility of purchasing your leased vehicle out directly from the bank.  By buying the vehicle out directly from the bank, your lease is terminated.  No need to search for some to take the lease over, no need to spend hundreds of dollars posting your car online.  With a simple phone call LeaseQuit®  brings dealers and dealerships throughout the states to your vehicle profile page, the rest is  history.

Users who are looking to get into a short-term lease and users who are looking to do a lease transfer have been limited to only 2 options online.  Both costly and frustrating to use!  On average a user will spend $150-$200 to list their vehicle with additional fees due upon completion of a successful lease transfer.  LeaseQuit® is the next generation of auto lease transfers.  LeaseQuit® is 100% FREE.  No hidden fees, no membership fees, no transfer fees, no listing fees.  With an upgraded, user-friendly platform, LeaseQuit® users can contact and network, discuss terms and conditions, and ultimately MAKE the deal you are looking for.

LeaseQuit® is an upgraded lease trader platform built with one thing in mind, keeping this process as simple as possible. At LeaseQuit® we have ONE goal.  To help you achieve your goals of an early lease termination & helping you find a short term lease to take over.

If you are looking to get out of your lease early or if you are looking to get into a short term lease, why not use all of the options available to you, including our FREE services that are aimed only to supplement and improve your experience, that can normally be very frustrating.

As soon as a seller posts a listing, it is updated on the website and will immediately start showing up in relevant searches. Any modifications to existing ad listings are also updated as soon as the changes are saved by the user. We notify all users monthly to update their profiles with updated mileages of vehicles. LeaseQuit also updates all dealers with updated payouts for the listings on our site. Our staff works relentlessly to ensure all users get the most up-to-date information in order to make the right decision.

If you have been wondering why you are not getting emails from LeaseQuit, you might want to check your email Spam folder. Many email services mark them as Spam and send these emails to the Spam folder. To fix this problem, go to the Spam folder, mark the email and the sender as 'Not Spam'. You will then start getting all the LeaseQuit requests and alerts in your inbox.

Most terms and conditions like the mileage, duration of the lease and the monthly lease amount will remain the same as the banks set them. You can, however, try to negotiate factors like the transfer fees and inspection costs, as long as they are legal. It is a transaction between you and the leasing company and LeaseQuit team does not get involved with such negotiations.

Most leasing companies allow you to terminate your lease contract before the stated last date. It will, in most cases mean that you will end up paying a huge amount as penalty for closing the contract before the specified time. The penalty amount can even be thousands of dollars, which is why services like LeaseQuit are a viable option, where you can transfer your lease instead of terminating it.

Some banks do not ask for a security deposit. Some might transfer the deposit amount from the original to the transferred lessee when the lease is transferred, while some others may return the deposit to the original lessee and ask for a fresh deposit. It is completely dependent on the financial institution and its rules for security deposits during transfer of leases.

A transfer is seen as the final step in the process when all the necessary documents are signed and sent across to the bank along with the transfer fees. The transfer is complete when the bank finishes processing the documents and you give away/receive your leased vehicle.

All manufacturers have their specifications in terms of vehicle maintenance. You can check your agreement documents for these details or contact the seller or manufacturer for more information.

Yes, you need to be insured for the entire time you have and use the leased vehicle. You can check the lease agreement for details on all the different kinds of coverage that your vehicle insurance needs to cover under the agreement.

Since you are the one driving the vehicle at the time of violation, you are responsible for paying all the parking or other traffic violation tickets, even if you are in a leased vehicle at the time of the violation.

It is usually difficult for foreign nationals in the United States to get a vehicle lease. You need to have a good credit rating reported by an American agency like TransUnion, Equifax or Experian. You might also need a guarantor who is a citizen of the US, with a good credit rating and history. It is usually much easier to get a rental vehicle than a lease, if you are not an American citizen in the US.

LeaseQuit USA Inc. is a service that brings together people from around the country looking to get out of their vehicle lease early, and people looking to get into a short-term lease. By creating a forum for these two parties to meet and connect, we bring the nation an easier and free alternative to a process that normally can be difficult and confusing. Our website was built with one thing in mind, making this process as easy as humanly possible. Our experts are available to answer any and all questions you may have. So create a profile and start looking through the countless solutions to your lease-end problems

If you have an on-going vehicle lease with a bank that allows you to transfer your lease to someone else, or you are looking to take over an existing vehicle lease, you can register and create a profile. Once you connect with an interested party, you will need to contact your bank and begin the lease transfer process. If you need any additional information that you do not find on this page, you can get in touch with us through our Contact Us page.

Creating a profile is made easy with a few simple steps. Go to the Post Vehicle tab on the website, and fill out the mentioned fields. Information required includes your vehicles year, make, model, color, and current mileage, allowed mileage along with a few other important details. The page will also ask a few details about you, like your name, address and contact details so that interested buyers can get in touch with you.

Users can optimize their profiles by uploading up to 12 photos, and including specific details about the vehicle you are posting. Remember, the more information you include, the higher your chances are of finding the perfect match.

If you want to optimize your listing, make sure you add photos of your vehicle. Ideally, take photos of the vehicle from different angles so that the buyer can see the front, back and sides of the vehicle in your photos. Also, take close-ups of the bumper, wheels and steering wheel for a better view. Take pictures of the interiors and the backseats as well.

When taking photos, make sure they are clear and have a good resolution. Your photos may be rejected if they are:

  • Blurry and unclear
  • Clicked from far away and do not reveal any details of the vehicle
  • Obscene or contain inappropriate content
  • Upside down

To make sure that does not happen, take some time to click good quality, bright photos of your vehicle. If you are confused about why your photos have been rejected, feel free to get in touch with us through the Contact Us page.

If for any reason you wish to deactivate or cancel your listing, write to us on our email address through the Contact Us page. Ensure that you include your vehicle ID and your name in the email so that we can process your request without any delay.

There are a number of ways to have your listing noticed above all of the others.

The best way to optimize your listing is by, upgrading to a “Featured Listing” profile. This will bring your listing to the top of every relevant search throughout the website, as well as rotate your profile through the top 12 profiles shown on every page on our site. The visibility of your profile increases significantly, and in most cases is the reason why successful transfers happen.

Make sure all of the photos you upload are bright and clear.

Be sure to have all fields filled out in your profile, the more information you give, the higher your chances are of finding someone that wants to take over your lease.

Be sure to have updated contact information on your profile, if people are unable to reach you they are definitely unable to take over your lease!

Many people searching to get into a short-term lease are more attracted to profiles that are offering Incentives. By offering an incentive you decrease the monthly payment for the person taking over your lease.

Once you have found an interested party, our job at LeaseQuit is done. The remainder of the process must be done through the bank your vehicle is leased through. You can call your bank and begin the paperwork immediately. Our experts are available to answer any and all questions you may encounter throughout the whole process.

There are a number of banks that do not allow vehicle lease transfers. If you are in doubt, please contact either your bank to confirm, or contact our experts who are here to answer any questions you may have.

Offering an incentive is recommended, NOT required.

Don't forget to make the most of the comments section in your ad listing. Since you would have already filled out the form required for your listing, do not repeat the same information in your comments. Use the section to include details that you may not have had the chance to put up in the form.

You may have some special features in your vehicle, or you may have added something to your vehicle that makes it run or look better. Give all the details about these features in the comments section. Special features and add-ons attract buyers to your ad listing and will help you get a good deal.

After you have posted a profile and have been contacted by a buyer whom you have finalized, the actual transfer could take up to four weeks, depending on documentation and your financial institution’s transfer processing speed, among other things.

Keep updating your ad with the mileage, lease and other variable information about your vehicle on a regular basis. These factors will keep changing, especially if your ad has been up for a while. Make sure that you provide accurate information to interested buyers through your profile by keeping your listing updated at all times.

If you are a first time buyer on our website, go to the Home page and click on the Register tab. Then, simply follow the simple, step-by-step instructions to register and start getting alerts about vehicles you are interested in.

There are a few ways to search for relevant listings on LeaseQuit. You can go to Search Listing tab on the top of every page of the website and type in details of the vehicle you are looking for. If you are not particular about the vehicle model, but want a good deal on the lease, you can check out the Hot Deals section from the Home page.

If you are looking for a specific brand and model of vehicle, or need a seller from a specific geographical location, you can go to the Search by Category section. Here, you can enter details of the specific model you are looking for to get listings of sellers offering the model. You can do the same for geographical specifications by entering the location you are interested in, so that you can get listings of sellers from your desired city, town or region.

There is an option called Wish List on your account navigation page, which you can use to customize your alerts. If you are not able to find a deal that suits your requirements, simply add the vehicle or geographical specifications you are looking for to your Wish List. We will alert you when a matching deal is registered with us or when we find a seller who has a listing that suits your specific requirements. This way, you will never miss a relevant deal when it is put up on LeaseQuit.

No, you need to be registered as a buyer to be able to get in touch directly with a seller on LeaseQuit. However, you can search for relevant deals even without registering. Once you find a deal that suits your requirements and wish to take a deal forward, you need to register and get verified by LeaseQuit to continue and get in touch with potential sellers.

You can ask for details of a seller through the Ask Seller option in the listing. Or, you can become a registered buyer and get in touch directly with the seller to take the deal forward. If you are already registered as a user, log into your account, go to your selected listing and click on the Contact Seller option. You can then get in touch with the seller and discuss the deal in detail.

If you are a first time buyer who is not yet registered, you will need to first register as a buyer and create an account for yourself on LeaseQuit. Registered users can get in touch with sellers using the Message Center or directly through relevant deals.

Once you have found the deal you are looking for, and have contacted the seller to begin the transfer process, both parties must get in touch with the financial institution the vehicle is being leased through.

Paperwork will need to be filled out and sent in via fax or email. The bank will then have you approved or denied based on your credit.

There are a few reasons why you could be rejected in the credit verification process:

  • No credit history: You can solve the issue by getting a better guarantor and reapplying for verification.
  • Bad credit reports: You will have to fix the issue by getting in touch with the agencies directly.
  • Credit limits may be set too high: You will need to clear your credit balance and wait up to 60 days for reapplication.
  • A combination of two or more of the above listed reasons.

If you do not pass verification, do not lose heart. You can reapply after a specified time.

The hardest part is OVER! Once you found the deal you are looking for, both parties must get in touch with the financial institution the vehicle is being leased through.

Paperwork will need to be filled out and sent in via fax or email. The bank will then have you approved or denied based on your credit.

We have tied up with a number of inspection companies and transportation agencies. In case you are unable to go check the vehicle for yourself due to geographical constraints, we can get it inspected for you and get it transported to your place anywhere within the United States.

Every bank has different lease transfer procedures. Please contact the bank or get in touch with our support staff to find out if your bank has any fees for transferring the lease.

It is possible in some lease agreements. If this is an option you would like to have, check with the leasing company before finalizing the deal to ensure that it allows extensions on leases.
